Directory of Professionals—Terms of Use
1. Scope & Acceptance
By creating, editing, or maintaining a listing—including your photo, logo, social media links, or “virtual business card” text—you agree to abide by these Terms of Use.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not post any content that:
Is inappropriate, offensive, discriminatory, harassing, obscene, or threatening.
Is defamatory or knowingly false.
Violates any law or professional ethics codes.
Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
Promotes services or products outside of your professional listing.
Impersonates another person or misrepresents your credentials.
3. Moderation & Enforcement
The Utah Chapter of AFCC (AFCC‑Utah) reserves the right to review, edit, or remove directory content at its sole discretion. Members who submit unprofessional or inappropriate content may be contacted for correction, temporarily suspended, or removed from the directory altogether.
4. User Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit. By uploading materials, you confirm that you have the right to use and share them. AFCC‑Utah disclaims liability for user-submitted content.
5. Content License
You retain ownership of your content but grant AFCC‑Utah a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and modify your directory listing for the purposes of operating and promoting the directory.
6. DMCA Notice & Copyright Agent
If you believe that any content in the Directory of Professionals infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA-compliant takedown notice to our designated agent:

To be effective, your notice must include:
Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and its location.
Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email).
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
AFCC‑Utah complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and will remove allegedly infringing content upon receipt of a valid takedown request.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the directory for any reason, including violations of these Terms of Use.
8. Updates
We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use of the directory following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
